Join your Community Council

The Elections Office of the Highland Council is responsible for running  Community Council elections. Elections are held every four years. The current Community Council members stand down at each election but are eligible for re-election. The maximum membership of each Community Council is determined by the population it serves. For Berriedale & Dunbeath Community Council, this is a maximum of 8 members.
