A delightful evening was had by everyone who attended the annual carol service organised by the Berriedale Church and Cemetery Association that took place at Berriedale Church on Friday 29th November.
The church itself looks splendid after the restoration work was completed over the summer months – huge congratulations to all those who worked so hard to see this project through.
The carol service was a great success with around fifty people coming together to sing and celebrate the spirit of Christmas. The service was well supported by children from the local area who performed a medley of songs including seasonal favourites ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’ and ‘Away In a Manger’.
The audience was also treated to performances by talented musicians who played a variety of instruments, and poetry in local dialect. Everyone gathered for refreshments afterwards, which were kindly provided by the Berriedale Church and Cemetery Association.
Thank you to everyone who took part and everyone who contributed to this lovely evening.
