With the rain holding off, a successful litter pick took place on the 13th April.
More than 25 volunteers set off from Dunbeath Hall on Saturday morning, armed with black bags and pick-ups.
By lunchtime, a huge pile of rubbish had been collected, mostly from around the Dunbeath playing fields area and along stretches of the main A9 road.

The Community Council currently organises a litter pick twice a year and arranges with the Highland Council to dispose of all the collected rubbish.
The next litter pick will be September or October 2019, weather permitting. The date and time will be posted closer to the time.
